Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter

Instructions
Making the Cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch round cake pan with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until fully combined. Add the vanilla and peppermint extracts, and mix again until fully combined.
