Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 180°C/Gas Mark 4. Grease a 20cm round cake tin with butter or non-stick baking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
